The Story
We bake all our cakes from scratch, using the finest ingredients!
From home-baking to studio
After baking and decorating cakes for family and friends for many years, Linda established Buttercup Cakes in 2010, working from home in Cheshire. The business has gone from strength to strength and in June 2013 we relocated the business to our lovely studio in Whaley Bridge, on border of Cheshire and Derbyshire, in the beautiful Peak District. We have built a reputation for beautiful, elegant wedding cakes, with a focus on attention to detail, great taste, and customer service which is second to none. We attract clients from all over the North West and further afield.
Buttercup Cakes has a real passion for creating bespoke, luxury wedding cakes. We pride ourselves on making cakes that not only look amazing but taste great too. We bake all our cakes from scratch, using the finest ingredients (fair trade whenever possible) and locally produced free range eggs.

One of our proudest moments
We are honoured to have made cakes for the BBC including the 30th birthday cake for BBC Breakfast time and have also made cakes for several well known figures, including Chris Evans, Nick Grimshaw, Emma Bunten and Vanessa Feltz.
Brownies
For people who are unable to visit our studio, we can now post our delicious Brownies anywhere in the UK, with beautiful gift wrapping and a personalised message. They make a lovely gift for any occasion or just a treat for yourself.
