Royal Icing for Beginners

Taught by a master in royal icing, Margaret Fraczek, this class covers:

  • Differences in icing sugars
  • Mixing of Royal Icing
  • Royal Icing Recipes
  • Successful sieving
  • Making greaseproof paper bags
  • Differences in piping tubes
  • Piping Lines, Dots,  Snails trail,  Shell borders, Herringbone patterns,  Rope and scroll effects,  Swirls
  • Brush embroidery

The class is limited to 5 students so you are assured of lots of individual help.  Everything for the class is provided and you will take home the dummy cake you have been working on and a starter pack of nozzles and royal icing, so you can get practising at home straight away.

Refreshments are available throughout the day, but please bring a packed lunch.
