    Learn how to make beautiful wired sugarcraft peonies at this full day class.

    You will make an open peony, closed peony and bud and learn how to:

    • work with flowerpaste
    • wire petals
    • vein petals
    • use petal dusts to create realistic colour
    • tape and assemble the flowers

    Everything you need to create your beautiful flowers is provided, including an apron and a box to take your flowers home in.

    Refreshments will be available throughout the day but please bring a packed lunch.

    Maximum of 6 students so you are assured of lots of individual attention and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

  • Wedding Cake Masterclass 4th/5th April 2020

    Create a beautiful 3 tier wedding cake with textured stone effect, sugar flowers and foliage at this intensive 2 day class.

    You will work with dummy cakes and learn how to:

    • cover a square and a round tier with a textured stone effect and use edible dusts to enhance the effect.
    • Create a moulded monogram and apply to a pre-covered dummy cake.
    • make 2 beautiful wired heirloom roses, rose leaves and ivy. Dust, tape and assemble the flowers and learn how to arrange them on the cake.
    • Learn about dowelling and stacking.
    • Lots of professional tips for working with wedding cakes, including delivery and set-up.
    • Finally you will take home a beautifully decorated cake to impress your friends and family and use as a display cake.

    The class will have a maximum of 4 students, which ensures lots of individual attention and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.  This is an intensive class and some previous experience of cake decorating/sugarcraft is required.

    The class includes everything you will need, including apron, equipment and materials and a box to take your cake home in.
    Refreshments are available throughout the day, but please bring a packed lunch.

  • Brownies by Post

    For people who are unable to visit our studio, we can now post our delicious handmade Brownies anywhere in the UK , with beautiful gift wrapping and a personalized message. They make a lovely gift for any occasion or why not just treat yourself! Our brownies will stay fresh for up to 7 days after receipt and can also be frozen.

    Flavours currently available are: salted caramel, chocolate orange, chocolate raspberry, mars bar, snickers, cookies and cream and traditional walnut. Look out for our limited edition flavours too!

     

     

    How do I order?
    Choose a box of 6 or a box of 12 Brownies and select from a range of flavours; each box contains a minimum of 3 of each selected flavour. Request your delivery date and add your personalized message.

    Orders received Monday to Friday, before 10 am, will be dispatched within 48hrs (excluding public holidays).

     

    When will my Brownies arrive?
    Parcels are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class signed for delivery, one day before your requested delivery date. Most deliveries arrive within 1-2 days but take up to 3 days for more remote areas, including Highlands and Islands. We cannot guarantee a delivery date unless the Special Delivery option is selected.

    • Learn how to make a beautiful sugarcraft wired flower posy.
    • Make wired roses, berries, leaves and filler flowers and learn how to assemble them into a posy suitable for application onto a cake.

    Everything you need to create the flowerposy is provided, including an apron and a box to take home your creation.

  • 2 Tier Cake with Sharp Edges 19th April 2020

    This is a hands on class where you will learn how to prepare, cover, stack and decorate a 2-tier cake to achieve a professional finish, under the personal guidance of Linda.

    You will learn how to:

    • Level, fill and ganache a 6” sponge cake
    • Cover the cake with sugarpaste to achieve a smooth professional finish and the much sought after sharp edges
    • Mount the cake on the iced board
    • Dowel and stack the cake, using a pre-covered dummy cake for the top tier
    • Apply ribbon
    • Make ruffle flowers and attach to your cake
    • Finally you will take home a beautifully decorated cake to impress your friends and family.

    The class includes everything you will need, including apron, equipment and materials and a box to take your cake home in.
    Refreshments are available throughout the day, but please bring a packed lunch.
