Learn how to make beautiful wafer paper flowers, with guest tutor Sian Forward-Martin of That Little Cake Place.
What will I learn?
You will learn Sian’s signature techniques and personal tips on how to create beautiful, realistic wafer paper flowers. You will learn:
- which liquid to use to condition your wafer paper
- how to condition and shape your wafer paper to create realistic looking petals
- the tools and equipment used by Sian and where to get them from
- how to make centres and stamens out of wafer paper
You will make a fluffy peony, cosmos, anemone and foliage.
Techniques taught in this class can be applied to other flowers.
The class is suitable for all abilities.
The class will have a maximum of 6 students, which ensures lots of individual attention and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
The class includes everything you will need, including apron, equipment and materials and a box to take home your flowers.
A light lunch is included and refreshments are available throughout the day.

Cost: £240 (including VAT)
Payment: £100 deposit is required to secure a place at the class. You will be invoiced for the remaining balance of £140, one month before the class date. Full payment to have been made prior to the course.
The class is held in our lovely studio in Whaley Bridge in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak district. We are 2 minutes from Whaley Bridge railway station and 45 minutes from Manchester Airport. There’s lot of accommodation available locally, should you wish to stay overnight or combine with a short break in the Peak District. We are happy to provide advice on accommodation and transfers.
